- Central Boiler Water Test Kit (Complete, With or Without antifreeze)
Description:
Note: If you are using the new MolyArmor inhibitor you will need the test kit specific to that inhibitor.
This water test kit will work with and without propylene glycol antifreeze present in the furnace water sample. Complete kits include pH test strips. It's a good idea to check your water at least 3 times a year.
This kit replaces water test kits, p/n 405 & 597-SP, as of 7/23/2019. The new test kit can identify nitrite levels in a closer graduated scale and work with or without Propylene Glycol present. If the Propylene Glycol is not raw, uninhibited, and used with other inhibitors or dye is present, water testing issues may occur. Central Boiler recommends only using raw, uninhibited Propylene Glycol.
The water in your outdoor wood furnace/boiler is the lifeblood of the system. If left unchecked, untreated water can clog expensive heat exchangers and corrode the boiler from the inside out. Be sure to pickup some Corrosion Inhibitor (p/n 1650).
